We
don't have much of a Fall in Southern California;
not like you would experience on the East Coast, or
other parts of the Country. However, it is my favorite
time of the year! Energy and activity are everywhere.
By midday the Sun still shines warmly, yet the mornings
are cool and nippy. The crispness of the air is exhilarating.
How could anyone doubt His glorious presence?
My first-born, DaniJo LeeAnn, made her arrival in
the Fall. She made her grand entrance on Thanksgiving
Day - before Dinner, I might add. She was a funny
lookin' little thing! DaniJo was long, and skinny,
and had the darkest head of hair. I was sure that
they had brought the wrong baby from the Nursery.
I remember she was so alert! She could holler with
the best of them! She is still a funny lookin' little
thing, but we are celebrating her 24th Birthday this
year. One of God's unimaginable miracles - as most
mothers will agree, it truly must be the most amazing
moment of a woman's life. How could anyone doubt His
hand in the midst of our lives?
As
we approach the millennium, there are many things
that weigh heavily on our minds and our hearts. Yet,
He is control. Jesus said, "So don't worry at all
about having enough food and clothing. Why be like
the heathen? For they take pride in all these things
and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly
Father already knows perfectly well that you need
them, and he will give them to you if you give him
first place in your life and live as he wants you
to. So, don't be anxious about tomorrow. God will
take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a
time."
Our family prays His blessings for you, and your loved
ones. May you sense His presence in your life during
this Holiday Season. He will give you peace!
